Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center – HCA is seeking an RN Manager for Rivertown ER to support the Emergency Department under the ED Director. You will help oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires active SC or compact RN licensure, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and 3+ years' acute care experience with 2+ years in leadership. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license active in South Carolina or compact state is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
• 3+ years of nursing experience in acute care; 2+ years in leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Emergency Department Director with day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
• Shares responsibility for overall nursing department operations and performance.
• Collaborates with ED leadership to staff, organize, and improve patient care in Rivertown ER.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The RN Manager Rivertown ER, under the supervision of the Emergency Department Director, assists the ED Director in the responsibilities for the day- to- day operations and overall responsibility for the nursing department.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse, Active Registered Nurse License to Practice in South Carolina or compact state required
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited school of nursing required
• 3+ years of nursing experience in acute care setting required; 2+ years of experience in nursing leadership preferred
