Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an RN Manager for the Breast Care Center to oversee daily operations of the Women's Diagnostic Center. You will supervise Mammographers, Sonographers and staff, participate in budgeting, and ensure high-quality imaging services in line with Joint Commission standards.

The role emphasizes staff engagement, patient satisfaction, and maintaining ARRT Mammography credentials and state/federal registrations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited AMA Program with Certificate or Degree in Radiology; must maintain CEUs to keep ARRT Mammography.
• ARRT registration with advanced mammography certification required; BLS certification required upon hire.
• Previous supervisory experience in a Mammography department; 3+ years Mammography Department/Clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mammographers, Sonographers, and support staff; coordinate day-to-day operations of the Women's Diagnostic Center.
• Assist with budgeting, personnel, operations and capital needs for the department.
• Maintain required state/federal registries and ARRT/Mammography accreditation; ensure high patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
• Foster strong radiologist relationships and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager Breast Care Center coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Women's Diagnostic Center, including supervising of Mammographers, Sonographers, and support staff and other duties that might be relevant to the overall function of the WDC. The Manager is also involved in the budgetary aspects of the Department including Personnel, Operational and Capital. The Manager performs imaging exams on patients while also providing an unequaled level of measurable quality and productivity in the delivery of these exams and services, which are responsive to the needs and values of the Customer. The Manager will also maintain strong relationships with Radiologists and work to maintain all required state and federal registries and ACR accreditations. Other duties include: ensuring department provides the highest level of patient satisfaction as well as work to cultivate a warm culture with high staff engagement, ensuring staff have the equipment and supplies to perform their job, and ensuring the department strictly adheres to all Joint Commission Standards.

What qualifications you will need:

Education: Graduate of Accredited AMA Program with Certificate or Degree in Radiology required; Must maintain minimum CEU’s to maintain Registration with ARRT in Mammography.

Licensure/Certifications : ARRT Registered with advanced registration in Mammography required; BLS certification required upon hire

Experience: Previous supervisory experience required; 3+ years Mammography Department/Clinic operations required
