Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an experienced RN Director Med Surg to oversee the unit's staffing, budgeting and patient-centered care. The director ensures high quality care and collaborates on strategies and policies to meet facility objectives.

The role requires a BSN or higher, active RN licensure, and 3+ years of acute care RN experience with 1+ year in nursing leadership. This position is actively supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Director Med Surg ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree or other approved education plan required; BSN preferred, MSN preferred
• 3+ years of applicable acute care RN experience required; 1+ years of acute care nursing leadership experience required
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) or practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required
• BLS required
