Job summary

The RN Manager at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis leads day-to-day coordination and assignment of patient care for an assigned team of RNs, aides and assistants across the specialty areas with the Physician Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Healthcare leadership or management experience (1–3 years) is preferred.
• Active RN license in Tennessee and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all clinical activities to meet organizational goals.
• Ensures staff assignments follow Plan of Care and maintains quality of care and cost effectiveness.
• Hires, develops, and retains a competent staff; oversees staff orientation and training.
• Plans and utilizes fiscal and human resources; fosters professional development.
• Ensures compliance with MLH policies and accreditation standards; communicates with interdisciplinary team.
• Supervises LPNs and RNs, Medical Assistants and Office Assistants.
