Job summary

Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a 13-week contract. The position is day shift (0630-1500) with on-call duties shared among OR RNs. You will support outpatient services and assist with inpatient care, including scheduled and emergency C-sections.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, a Arizona Compact RN license, and BLS. ACLS/PALS are preferred and can be obtained on-site. Weekend on-call hours apply as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the OR for various procedures including general, endo, ortho, OB, and GYN.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage post-operative care in coordination with the surgical team.
• Ensure safety and provide emotional support to patients and families during surgical interventions.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Olympus laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment, Steris beds, and Hana tables.
• Document patient care activities accurately within the Medhost and CQI systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist in various patient care procedures as needed.
