Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center in Michigan seeks a Magnet Program Coordinator with a Master of Science in Nursing and at least 2 years of Magnet experience to lead the ANCC designation process. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders, coordinate documentation, and serve as the liaison to nursing councils and site leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating interim reports, closing gaps to meet designation criteria, preparing for site visits, and developing staff

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field required.
Minimum 2 years of Magnet experience required.
Licensed RN in Michigan at time of hire.
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC) at time of hire.
One specialty license/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of the ANCC Magnet application, designation and re-designation process.
Serve as Magnet advisor/liaison to nursing leadership, nursing councils, unit-based Magnet committees and nursing community.
Collaborate with site clinical and support departments, and nursing leadership to close identified gaps and to improve systems and processes to assure compliance with Magnet designation criteria.
Develop educational material for staff to support the Magnet Program objectives.
Coordinate collection, categorization and filing of all Magnet evidence and oversee preparation for appraiser site visits.
