Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Experience in hospital/long-term care preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Direct and coordinate nursing staff in alignment with regulations and standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures for nursing service.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines and conduct reporting as required.
• Meet with the nursing staff to plan services and improve patient care.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Complete incident reports and participate in surveys and QA processes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other departments.
