Description:This position is for a Long Term Care Registered Nurse.The candidate must have a valid state license in hand before starting.Travelers will work either day or night shifts, depending on the facility's needs at time of start date.The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:20.Previous travel experience is mandatory, and first-timers will not be accepted.The position requires the candidate to be flexible and willing to float within scope to meet the facility's needs.Candidates must be willing to work at least two of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).All required certifications must be obtained during orientation, and a fee may apply for specific certifications.The facility has a patient population with various cognitive and physical impairments.The nurse will perform tasks that include Accuchecks, G-tube feedings, IV hydration, phlebotomy lab draws, and wound care.The position does not require floating between shifts but may require limited floating between nearby facilities.No call-in responsibilities are required for this assignment.Compliance with all policies and procedures is essential.
