Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking Registered Nurses for long term acute care facilities nationwide, offering local and non-local assignments with a competitive hourly rate plus a tax-free stipend. You will work with one recruiter from start to finish and choose from a variety of partner facilities across the country.

Expect travel between assignments, license reimbursement for new state licensing, no pay cuts mid-contract, and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required.
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC experience preferred.
• ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using air and ground transportation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties: Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required, but may vary by client and setting
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC experience preferred
• ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Additional certifications may be required by some clients.
