Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Registered Nurse for travel assignments at partner acute care facilities nationwide. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and adapt to diverse clinical settings during your rotations.

Local and non-local placements are available with a competitive hourly rate and tax-free stipend where eligible. You will work with one recruiter from start to finish and may receive license reimbursement and a referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC/Travel experience preferred.
• ICU, Med/Surg and Telemetry experience preferred.
• Driver's license and ability to travel.
• Background checks and vaccinations as required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties: Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required, but may vary by client and setting
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC experience preferred
• ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Additional certifications may be required by some clients.
