Job summary

Ochsner Health System in Mississippi is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. You will delegate, direct, and support licensed and ancillary staff to achieve high-quality outcomes and patient safety.

You will ensure culturally sensitive care, participate in department goals, and maintain professional accountability while supporting the organization's nursing philosophy.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS and Critical Care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing processes and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to deliver patient care and outcomes.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching for patients and families.
• Lead, delegate, and supervise nursing team members and resources.
• Use data and clinical knowledge to drive quality improvements.
• Enhance patient satisfaction and staff morale through professional care.
• Adapt care and communication to diverse patient populations.
