Ochsner Health in Mississippi is seeking a registered nurse to lead patient care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for diverse patient populations.

As a nurse leader you will delegate and support licensed and ancillary team members, coordinate care, document meticulously, and strive for optimal patient outcomes while upholding safety and privacy standards.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or within defined timelines.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources; leads interdisciplinary team.
• Utilizes data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Supports patient privacy and safety, and upholds professional nursing standards.
• Performs other related duties as required.
