Job summary

Wilshire At Lakewood Rehab & Healthcare Center in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and/or Registered Nurses (RN) to join our clinical team and help maintain high-level resident care.

We emphasize a family feel and provide competitive pay, PTO, comprehensive benefits, and strong management. New grads are welcome; shifts are 12 hours, offering stable schedules while delivering compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• Must have an active license in Missouri as an LPN or RN.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient's medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
• Assist ailing patients in daily activities such as eating and bathing.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• General nursing tasks as required.
