Wilshire At Lakewood Rehab & Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing community focused on clinical excellence and compassionate care for residents. We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and/or Registered Nurses to join our clinical team under new management.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri license (LPN or RN) required.
• Ability to record patient history and monitor vital signs.
• Compassionate, able to handle stress.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and medication side-effects.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluids in/out and charting.
• Assist patients with daily activities (eating, bathing, etc.).
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and wound care assistance.
• Perform general nursing tasks as required.

Licensed Practical Nurses/RN (LPN) Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• General nursing tasks as required.

Licensed Practical Nurses/RN (LPN) Requirements

• Must have an active license in the state of Missouri as an LPN or RN.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
