Job summary

Berkshire Health & Rehabilitation Center in Vinton, VA is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of RN or LPN Unit Manager. You will lead the nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and uphold our standards of excellence.

You will supervise resident care plans, mentor staff, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure best practices and enhanced patient experiences. This is a salaried/exempt position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Virginia or eligible; LPN considered based on experience.
• Strong leadership with emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed.
• Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
• Assist in training and orientation of new employees.
• Handle emergencies or issues during shifts following established protocols.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care to each resident.
