Job summary

Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking an RN/LPN to oversee clinical operations of a unit, supervise nurses and CNAs, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday daytime with some weekend and on-call duties. Applicants must hold a Virginia RN/LPN license and have 3–5 years of experience in long-term care, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as an RN/LPN.
• 3–5 years of experience as an RN/LPN, preferably in long term care.
• BSN preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.

The RN/LPN will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed. This unit provides care for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN/LPN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
