Job summary

Zinnia Health is seeking an RN or LPN to provide nursing care in a substance abuse treatment facility. The role includes medication management, health assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support clients on their recovery journey.

The ideal candidate has a valid RN/LPN license, BLS/CPR/FA certification, and strong clinical skills, with 3 years of relevant lived experience desirable. Schedule is Thu–Sat, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on-site at our Rhode Island facility.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license issued from the state.
• BLS/CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in a substance abuse treatment facility preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction medicine and treatment protocols.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Minimum 3 years of lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care per established policies and procedures.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor clients' physical and mental well-being.
• Administer medications and monitor effectiveness.
• Collaborate to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate clients on health promotion and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide support throughout the recovery process.
