Job summary

Zinnia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility. You will provide nursing care, medication management, and client support, helping individuals on their journey to recovery.

The role requires licensing and clinical skills, with an emphasis on collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and adherence to treatment protocols. This on‑site position offers 12‑hour shifts across days and nights.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license from the state.
• Current BLS/CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in a substance abuse treatment facility preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum of 3 years lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor the physical and mental well‑being of clients.
• Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate clients on health promotion, prevention, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
• Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the recovery process.
