Job summary

Senior Life Solutions, a division of Psychiatric Medical Care, is hiring a compassionate RN or LPN to join our new Intensive Outpatient Program in Sabetha, KS. This full-time clinic nurse role serves older adults in an IOP setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm and no on-call or weekends.

You will work with a collaborative care team to deliver nursing care, community education, and quality improvement initiatives while supporting the program’s growth and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in Kansas required.
• Graduation from an approved school of nursing required.
• Associates degree required.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Passion for working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Intensive Outpatient Program.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including a psychiatrist, social worker, and CNA.
• Develop and deliver educational presentations and seminars to the local community on mental health resources.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives in regular team meetings.

We’re hiring a compassionate RN or LPN / LVN to join our new Intensive Outpatient Program (Senior Life Solutions), serving older adults in the Sabetha, KS community. This is the newest program in the state of Kansas set to open October with staff starting in September!

• Role: Clinic Nurse / Program Nurse
• Location: Sabetha, Kansas
• Setting: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Population: Older Adults, Ages 65
• Hourly: up to $30/ hourly depending on experience
• Schedule: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) (Note: No Call / No Weekends)

Opportunity Details:

As a Program Clinic Nurse, you will focus on the 3Cs; Care, Community, and Compliance.

Care: Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.

Community:Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.

Compliance: Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

What We Require:

• Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice – required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing – required.
• Associates of above – required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience — preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults – preferred.
