Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
• Must have a current Kentucky license to practice nursing.
• Must have continuing education units up to date.
• Current CPR and first aid training certification.
• One year in the field of developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Two years nursing experience in a long‑term facility preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a record acceptable to Cedar Lake Lodge's insurance carrier.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuous, professional healthcare services by administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Document doctor's orders, treatments, and care in an organized manner.
• Initiate preventative measures to protect residents' health and wellness.
• Communicate effectively within nursing staff and all Cedar Lake Lodge team members.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate residents' treatment plans.
• Observe, record, and report findings, perform routine nursing duties including medications and vital signs.
• Assist with all aspects of residents' care and training.
• Accompany residents to doctors or hospitals as needed.
