Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cumberland, RI is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and adult patients. You will utilize the nursing process to assess and plan patient care, delivering skilled services on every assignment in the patient’s home, and collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses with healthcare team.
