Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Assists physicians with diagnostics and procedures.
• Reinforces health care instructions to patients and families.
• Participates with team in planning and evaluating nursing care.
• Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs and condition.
• Maintains an environment conducive to patient safety and comfort.
• Assists with unit management and can assume charge as needed.
