Cedars Healthcare Center in Charlottesville, VA is recruiting an RN or LPN MDS Nurse / RAC to join our team. The MDS Nurse RAC reports to the Executive Director and ensures accurate MDS assessments and timely coordination of the RAI process, with oversight of Medicare/Medicaid and case management to secure appropriate reimbursement.

Qualified candidates hold RN or LPN licensure in Virginia, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and have 3 years of long-term care experience; MDS/RAI

Qualifications

• MDS/RAI knowledge and process experience
• Care coordination skills for residents
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in long-term care

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely MDS assessments and RAC coordination
• Coordinate the RAI process for Medicare/Medicaid and managed care
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies
• Serve as a key member of the facility's management team to achieve quality outcomes
