JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The MDS Nurse RAC (Resident Assessment Coordinator) reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. Provides oversight for Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care to ensure appropriate clinical services are provided and appropriate reimbursement is received for each resident. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as CommuniCare’s guidelines and policies. The position serves as a key member of the facility’s management team, helping the facility obtain and maintain quality outcomes.
