Job summary

Huron Regional Medical Center in South Dakota is hiring an RN/LPN to provide direct nursing care for individuals and families, coordinating with the health care team to plan and deliver patient-centered services.

This PRN—As Needed position requires current RN or LPN licensure in South Dakota, BLS, and completion of orientation with proficiency within six months. Cross training is also required to ensure flexible, continuous patient care.

Job Summary

The RN/LPN provides direct nursing care for individual clients and families. The RN/LPN communicates with and on behalf of the client and coordinates client care with all health team members. The RN/LPN organizes those aspects of nursing care for which s/he is accountable in a specified work period.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or LPN in South Dakota
• BLS- required
• Following a formal orientation, proficiency in the assigned clinical area is expected within six months.
• Failure to comply with standards of nursing care of HRMC may result in consequences to continued employment.
• Cross training is required.
