LPN/RN - Full-Time Night Shift

Sign-on Bonus - $5000 payout in 6 months!
Work 36 hours, get paid for 40.

Charge Nurse RN/LPN

This position is responsible for the daily provision of nursing care and services to ensure each resident attains or maintains their highest practicable level of function.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • License in good standing with the licensure board.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal oversight.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of current standards of nursing practice and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with supplies and equipment used by the department.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to tactfully interact with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Meet all health requirements mandated by law.
  • Basic data entry and typing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide and supervise nursing care according to standards, regulations, and care plans.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and other staff.
  • Order, prepare, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Visit residents regularly and monitor their conditions.
  • Supervise feeding and notify physicians or families of changes.
  • Document all care, assessments, and administrative duties accurately.
  • Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Perform prescribed treatments and emergency procedures like CPR.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and communicate pertinent information to staff.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency preparedness.
  • Assist in training and supervising other nursing staff.
  • Maintain records, follow safety procedures, and participate in training.
  • Report complaints and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
