Job Description: LPN/RN - Full-Time Night Shift

We provide medical masks and PPE to all employees to help protect our residents, staff, and their families.

Sign-on Bonus: $5000 payout in 6 months!
Work Schedule: Work 36 hours, get paid for 40.

Charge Nurse RN/LPN

This position is responsible for the daily provision of nursing care and services to ensure each resident attains or maintains his/her highest practicable level of function.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • License in good standing with the licensure board.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal oversight.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of current standards of nursing practice and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with supplies and equipment used by the department.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to tactfully communicate with staff, residents, families, and visitors.
  • Meet all health requirements as mandated by law.
  • Basic data entry and typing skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide and supervise nursing care to residents according to standards, regulations, and care plans.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and other staff.
  • Order, prepare, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Visit residents regularly and monitor their conditions.
  • Supervise feeding and notify physicians or responsible parties of any changes.
  • Document all nursing activities accurately and professionally.
  • Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in residents’ conditions, documenting observations and interventions.
  • Perform prescribed treatments and emergency procedures as needed.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and emergencies promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with staff during shift changes.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency preparedness.
  • Assist in training and supervising staff.
  • Maintain proper records and follow safety and infection control procedures.
  • Participate in required training and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
