Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Pipestone facility provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to staff within competence levels, ensuring safe, compassionate care, and adherence to professional standards in a Christian, community-focused environment. Part-time schedule with 24 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and resident education; perform nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
