Job summary

Avera Family Medicine Center Dawley Farm in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver professional nursing care under the direction of the provider. This regular day-shift position offers a pay range of $22.50–$41.25 per hour, depending on experience, with a 730-430 schedule and a half-day on Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Visual acuity and physical ability to perform duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients and administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures and testing.
• Observes and reports patient conditions and reactions to drugs and treatments.
• Oversees appointment scheduling and maintains timely flow of patients.
• Greets patients, takes vitals, documents information, and educates patients and families.
