Job summary

Cura of Willmar is a 78-bed skilled nursing facility in Minnesota seeking an RN or LPN to join the day-shift nursing team. You will work closely with CNAs and other staff to provide resident-centered care and coordinate daily treatments and assessments.

New to skilled nursing? That's okay—prior long-term care experience helps but is not required. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to grow with our residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Dependable and communicates well with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Can prioritize and stay organized during a busy shift.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Provides compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Has or can obtain CPR certification.
• New to skilled nursing? Prior skilled nursing or long-term care experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments.
• Completing assessments and monitoring residents for changes in condition.
• Communicating with providers, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Providing guidance and support to CNAs and TMAs.
• Completing accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Responding to changes in condition and resident needs.
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Participating in shift report and ensuring important information is communicated to the nursing team.
• Helping create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for our residents.

We are a 78-bed skilled nursing facility providing both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Our nurses have the opportunity to build relationships with residents, work closely with CNAs and other nursing staff, and be an important part of a team focused on providing great resident care.

What You'll Do

As an RN/LPN on our day shift, you'll help coordinate and provide care for residents throughout the day. Responsibilities include:
