Job summary

Century Care Management in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a licensed RN to join our long-term care team. The ideal candidate will have an ADN or BSN, an active RN license, and experience in geriatric care.

You will assess residents, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate with families and the interdisciplinary team to provide resident-centered care. This is a full-time, on-site role offering growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ADN or BSN with RN license in state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning and clinical assessment.
• CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid balance and charting.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as eating and bathing.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications and wound care; assist with basic care tasks.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ families to provide advice, comfort and discharge instructions.
