As an RN or LPN, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor conditions, document meticulously, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Alabama or a valid multi-state license permitting practice in Alabama.
• Graduate of an approved nursing education program appropriate to RN or LPN licensure.
• Current CPR certification as required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and care plans.

NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team!

As an RN or LPN, you will play an important role in providing high-quality nursing care, promoting patient and resident well-being, and supporting positive outcomes. We are looking for dependable, caring nursing professionals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Position Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, established nursing standards, and applicable scope-of-practice requirements.

Assess and monitor patients and residents, recognizing and reporting changes in condition.

Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the applicable nursing scope of practice.

Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.

Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and appropriate members of the care team.

Supervise, direct, or support nursing assistants and other assigned nursing staff as appropriate to licensure and job responsibilities.

Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized plans of care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, NHC policies, and professional nursing standards.

Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama, or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Alabama.

Graduate of an approved nursing education program appropriate to RN or LPN licensure.

Current CPR certification as required.

Strong clinical skills, communication abilities, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary care teams.

Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
