Description

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join our Residential Treatment Program. The Nurse position performs nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of clients, including giving prescribed medications and treatments according to approved policy and procedures.

Schedule: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Monday - Thursday, 2pm - 10pm)

Shift Diff: Added to base rate when working hours listed below.

• 2nd Shift (2pm - 9:59pm): $3.50/hr (RN) & $2.50/hr (LPN)
• 3rd Shift (10pm - 5:59am): $2.50/hr (RN) & $1.75/hr (LPN)
• Weekend (Saturday 12:01am - Monday 5:59am): $1.50/hr & $1.00/hr (LPN)
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Initiate and develop forms, letters, and QA aids as needed.
• Initiate admission Emergency Medical file.
• Coordinate physicians and clinical orders and maintain medical files.
• Inventory and maintain supplies for nursing offices and first aid kits.
• Evaluate client and check vital signs.
• Schedule clients for consultations with staff physicians, as necessary.
• Review laboratory and related psychiatric and medical health assessments as clinically indicated.
• Provide diagnostic reassessment at time of transfer and/or discharge at it pertains to the position held.
• Assist in the health screening of youth
• Provide nursing and emergency care to clients and advises appropriate follow-up as it pertains to the position held.
• Effectively conduct follow up reports regarding care.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• You have an associate’s degree in nursing.
• You have at least one year of nursing experience.
• You are a certified Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• You have first aid and CPR certification.
• You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
