Job summary

The Villages on MacArthur in Irving, TX is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join a respected facility specializing in long‑term and rehabilitative care. You will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with clinical systems, regulations, and physician orders.

You will help ensure the highest quality services in a compassionate, customer‑service oriented environment and contribute to a positive resident experience. This is a rewarding nursing opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN licensure is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies equipment and supplies needs.
• Directs and oversees subordinates and assigns duties.
• Monitors infection control compliance and safety.
• Investigates incidents and documents appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
