Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for St. Francis Home in Wisconsin. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to residents according to the care plan and regulations, while guiding and supervising CNAs on a daily basis.

You will manage medications, monitor safety, and communicate with families and physicians as needed. The position emphasizes direct care, adherence to standards, and participation in end-of-life comfort measures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents per care plan and regulations.
• Direct CNAs and monitor unit workflow for coordinated care.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper distribution per 5 rights.
• Educate residents and families as needed and communicate changes to physicians.
• Ensure safety measures, reports of skin issues, and end-of-life comfort care.
• Respond to alarms and utilize restraints alternatives where appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
