Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an RN for Long Term Care to deliver individualized nursing care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care in a resident-centered setting.

The role requires coordinating care, administering assessments, and providing education to residents and families. Current RN licensure and a preferred Bachelor's degree are expected, with full-time, on-site duties at Osceola

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure (NLC).
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education.
• Perform nursing interventions within the full scope of practice.
