Job summary

Sanford Health's Hillsboro Long Term Care facility is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents. The RN will use the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborating with residents, families, and a wide care team to deliver individualized care.

Shifts are 12 hours, day or evening, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinates care, performs resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff within scope and competencies.
