Care Initiatives is seeking an RN to join as Assistant Director of Nursing in Iowa. The role supports the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department across multiple communities, ensuring compassionate, compliant care and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates hold an Iowa RN license, CPR certification, and a commitment to growth, teamwork, and high-quality resident care within a leadership framework.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing in the state of Iowa.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Desire to learn and grow as part of a quality focused clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative functions to enhance department efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols at all times.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the leadership team.
