Job summary
West Roxbury Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Elderwood, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead the nursing team, strengthen clinical practice, and mentor staff. You'll collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance while supporting a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited school.
- Must possess a current, active RN license in state.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in hospital/long-term care.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations with the Director of Nursing.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff; foster engagement and growth.
- Lead infection prevention and safety initiatives.
- Participate in audits, QA, and interdisciplinary care planning.
- Step in as DON when needed to ensure continuity of leadership and care.
- Support staffing, onboarding, and training for 24/7 coverage.
