Highland Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse to join as Resident Care Manager/Infection Preventionist (RN) in a full-time role. You will lead nursing staff, oversee patient care plans, and drive infection prevention initiatives within a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, leadership, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident outcomes and compliant care processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of CDC and CMS infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and oversee individualized resident care plans.
• Oversee nursing staff and ensure quality outcomes.
• Lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Chair the Infection Control Committee and coordinate initiatives.
• Monitor infections and respond to outbreaks and trends.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation in the EMR.
