Job summary

Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO, part of Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS), is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care and lead shift routines.

Responsibilities include medication administration, assessing residents, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality care. Colorado RN license and CPR required; prior LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Maintenance of CEUs.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and plan shift routines.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Observe residents and report changes to physicians.
• Lead unit staff and participate in meetings.
