Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Required – 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CPI within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication, computer literacy, good judgement and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Adapts care to patient population while respecting privacy and introduction methods.
• Utilizes the Nursing Process in delivering patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and teaches patients and families accordingly.
• Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources within the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Maintains patient safety and supports professional nursing standards.
