Job summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking a licensed RN for a 12-week assignment to provide patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. You will guide licensed and ancillary team members, ensure quality outcomes, and uphold cultural sensitivity and diversity.

The role emphasizes delegation, data-driven improvement, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. A 1-year RN background and BLS certification are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Work Experience: 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
• Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice and current BLS from the American Heart Association; clinical specialty certification preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication, proficiency with computers, good judgment, strong interpersonal skills.
