Adventist Health Simi Valley is seeking an RN Lead on the night shift for the Simi Valley unit. The role involves leading a team of nurses and ancillary staff, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director and physicians to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The successful candidate will have a nursing degree, state RN licensure, ACLS and PALS/CPI/TEAM experience, with supervisory background and a focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years' technical experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• RN licensure in state of practice required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS/CPR certifications required or preferred.
• AHA-PALS required.
• CPI or TEAM required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, physicians and staff.
• Supervises activities of nursing and ancillary personnel with professional discretion.
• Ensures cost effective, high-quality patient care and outcomes.
• Assesses and improves quality of patient experience and safety.
