Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months current clinical experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills required.
• Ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Ability to demonstrate interprofessional collaboration, flexibility, patient-centered care, continuous learning, professionalism, accountability, perseverance, and drive for improvement required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovation Design Unit to drive nursing innovation through projects, pilots and processes.
• Coordinate nursing care with other health professionals to meet holistic needs.
• Mentor and coach staff; model clinical expertise and daily priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care.
• Translate ideas into practical, innovative solutions within care delivery and facility design.
