Job summary

Adept Rehab and Nursing of Omaha is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for all shifts in Omaha. The role involves overseeing nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and delivering high-quality clinical services in a supportive SNF setting.

The RN will administer medications, assess residents, and collaborate with physicians to meet medical and personal needs while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team of nursing staff.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Supervise and support a team of LPNs and CNAs to deliver optimal care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
• Educate residents and their families on health management, conditions, and treatments.
• Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and facility-specific regulations and standards.
• Respond to emergencies, assess situations, and provide critical care as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the facility’s continuous improvement efforts.
