Job summary

Majestic Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in West Virginia. You will provide skilled nursing care on an assigned unit, supervise CNAs, and support medical staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.
