Zusammenfassung

Majestic Care of Deming Park in Terre Haute is seeking a Registered Nurse to render skilled nursing services on a designated unit, supervise CNAs, and support medical care as directed by the nursing management team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in Indiana, and ability to implement physicians' orders, administer medications, and participate in ongoing training to uphold care quality.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.
