Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate and manage clinical research protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. You will support the preceptorship of new team members and oversee space and SOP adherence.

The role requires RN with an Associate's degree in Nursing; BLS is required and ACLS preferred. Clinical tasks include phlebotomy and IV insertion under FDA/CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license and BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• 2+ years clinical research experience; 4+ with people management preferred.
• CCRC and SOCRA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers effective and compliant clinical research study coordination, including planning, organizing, and managing all activities related to clinical research protocols.
• Serves in a supportive role for the preceptorship of new team members, monitoring their progress and providing open communication to the Operational Manager.
• Manages the clinical space necessary for execution of protocols, overseeing setup and turnover per SOPs.
• Maintains clinical competencies including phlebotomy and IV insertion, and follows universal precautions.
