Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit and a level 2 NICU. This is part of a nine-hospital system within Highmark Health, serving the Pittsburgh area with a focus on patient-centered obstetric care.

You will provide leadership, nursing assessment, and plans of care for OB patients, while maintaining safety, quality, and teamwork across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.
• Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in professional practice and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for obstetric patients.
• Promote patient safety, accurate documentation and coordinated care with the team.
